Chro Borhan is Dialogue Adviser at the Nobel Peace Center. She is responsible for dialogue activities and is the head author of the centre’s book “Those who listen, change the world”. Chro develops digital courses for a global community of inspiring change makers and a leadership program in peace, sustainability and dialogue, the Ignitor Fellowship Program. Currently she also works with preventing criminality among youth in Oslo and coordinates a large network related to this. Prior to this she worked at the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue (NCPD). Here she facilitated dialogue and mediation processes in different contexts, was teaching peace education, developed and executed trainings in conflict management, dialogue and facilitations. Chro is mentor in prevention of radicalization and extremism at the Directorate of Correctional Services in Norway (KDI) and senior facilitator at the international Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP). She also has experience in organizational development, leading peace programs and programs combating gender-and honour- based violence within the civil society. Borhan holds a master’s degree in Administration and Organizational Science, and a further education in city planning and environmental impact assessment.
