Ida Bakke is senior advisor at NOREF Norwegian Centre for Conflict Resolution, where she has worked in different capacities since the organization was established in 2008. During her time at NOREF she has acquired broad experience and knowledge across the spectrum of peace efforts – from peacebuilding, track 2 and 1,5 initiatives to track 1 peace processes. Earlier she specialised in operational and logistical process support and now focus more on thematic support on inclusive design and mechanisms for women’s participation. She has extensive experience working on peace processes facilitated by the Norwegian MFA (Colombia, Philippines, Venezuela). In addition to this she has been involved in discrete track II projects aiming to bring actors closer to the negotiating table. Currently she leads NOREFs work on Venezuela.
