Line Brylle
Representative of NWM-Denmark Operational Partner
Line Brylle has 20 years’ experience in programme management in the humanitarian sector, over the years she has specialized in conflict prevention and peacebuilding, primarily in central Africa and the Sahel region. In her current position, since 2017, as Global Peacebuilding Advisor for the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Line leads DRC’s bottom-up peacebuilding programming covering 14 countries, in different regions worldwide, with a focus on security governance and conflict management. This includes programme development, technical advising and facilitating training for and with DRC colleagues, partners and communities on community-based safety approaches, conflict sensitivity, conflict management, mediation and dialogue facilitation, as well as supporting local partners and peacebuilding initiatives. Line is a member of the Nordic Women Mediators network (NWM), the Danish Network for Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding (NCPPB), and a member of the International Advisory Board for the Nigerian Mediation Training Institute. Line has an academic background in Anthropology of Development (MA) and has a professional training in mediation.
