Siri Katrine Helland Stai is a Programme Adviser for Peace Support at NORCAP, part of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), implementing the development and delivery of new initiatives within the African Union Programme peace support portfolio, including working with the African Union to enhance women’s leadership in peace and security initiatives. She has experience providing logistical and implementation support to peace‑process initiatives for Sudan, South Sudan and Ethiopia, and supported the AU’s Monitoring, Verification and Compliance Mechanism in Tigray. She has previously worked with UNDP and ARENA Centre for European Studies and was a trainee at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Japan and the UNDP Nordic Representation Office. She holds an MA in International Peace and Security from King’s College London and an MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh
