Tina Monberg


Tina Monberg is a mediation professional with 25 years’ experience in research, program design and management. She has a background as a qualified lawyer, psychotherapist, systemic constellator and certified mediator. Tina has provided certified mediation training globally for private and governmental organisations. As an entrepreneur, change agent, and leader in the field she has published several mediation books which contain strategies for conflict resolution which are a result of her experiences and the techniques she has developed.

Together with Mette Jacobsgaard, she has also designed and delivered a mediation certification program for the entire Judiciary in Bhutan for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The strategies Tina has developed and the experiences she has gained enable her to successfully mediate in conflicts within NGO´s, governmental and private organizations including businesses with a focus on the systemic and cultural dimensions.

Tina supports organizational learning, capacity strengthening and advocacy on gender issues, conflict and climate resilience, where she during COP 15 2009 together with Mediators Beyond Borders facilitated an initiative to use mediation during climate conflicts.

She speaks the Nordic languages and English fluently – and has working level knowledge of German and French.
